Nominees for the 2012 International Gaming Awards Announced
The nominations for the various award categories for the 2012 International Gaming Awards (IGA) have been announced. Many big names within the gambling industry have been nominated for more than one award and some of the awards categories have a large number of nominees. For instance, the iGaming Software Supplier category has over 25 nominees, including big names like Microgaming and Playtech. The competition for this category will certainly be high, especially considering Microgaming now has its remarkable QuickFire platform that is highly innovative and has unique features unlike other gaming platforms.
For the Online Casino Operator of the Year award, notable nominees include Bwin.party, Bet365, William Hill and 888 Casino. However, one of the strongest contenders in this category is Virgin Casino, as throughout the year it has released an impressive number of new games and exceptional promotions. Thus, there’s no question there will be stiff competition in many of the IGA categories.
The IGA event will take place on January 23 in London, England.
