The basic tactic is to retain a full house as you will receive 45 coins, which represents a 9 to 1 return. So, the aces are big in Triple Double Bonus. However, Triple Double Bonus pays only 2 to 1 on 3 of a kind hands as compared to the 3 to 1 in Jacks or Better games. If you consider long-term returns, this can be a significant setback. However, to compensate for this, the returns on Four Aces combinations, with 2, 3 or 4 as the fifth card, is worth 4,000 coins if you have placed the maximum wager of 5 coins. This is twice as much as in double double bonus poker. Additionally, Four 2s, 3s or 4s, combined with an Ace, 2, 3 or 4, will pay you 2,000 coins for the maximum wager as compared to the 800 on Double Double Bonus.
The game is played as other video poker games. The player will be dealt 5 cards from a 52-card deck by the dealer or the machine. You can choose to either keep or discard any of the cards or all of them. When you have decided which cards to discard and which ones to keep, you have to click the ‘hold’ button on the video screen. After this, you need to click the ‘draw’ button. When you have pressed the draw button, the discarded cards are replaced with new cards and the hand made with these cards is your final hand.
